Our ‘Chester’ is a premium calf leather Brogue shoe, featuring Goodyear welted construction with rubber studded soles that provide a high level of comfort, shape retention and added durability. Chester uses our ‘024’ last shape, and is available in an ‘F’ fitting. These men’s shoes are designed and engineered in Kettering and made in our high-grade factory in England.
024 is one of two country last shapes Loake use currently. It is used for less formal shoes such as our iconic ‘Chester’ brogue and ‘Burford’ boot. Like most country style last shapes, 024 is a little roomier by design to allow for thicker socks to be worn. The toe shape is rounded on this last.
